I’m very happy to represent my UNLV Rebels here in Chile. I miss UNLV and everything, but today is one of those days that’ll make me miss Santiago when it’s my time to leave (possibly for good).
It was just lovely. Didn’t do too much, but also didn’t do too little. It made me appreciate being in a city this size.
Today I got to school on time and took a test that took me 15 minutes. I then headed to Liz’s since we needed to buy 12 pounds of avocado.
I got into shenanigans with Liz as we went to the biggest grocery bodega in the city. We ordered pizza and I seriously fell asleep on her couch mid-conversation and woke up 3 hours later. Apparently, she managed to watch a few episodes of The Big Bang Theory and she did her nails while I was asleep. I then drank pineapple juice out of a wineglass. It was eventually time to go home.
However, at the metro stop, I call Hannah to see if she wants to do anything tonight. She has no plans, so we meet at Baquedano. From there, we head to Bellas Artes to go see a documentary festival at the park. It was lovely out. There was a breeze and it was a bit cold since I had no sweater. We drank warm vanilla coffee. You could see the stars shining in the night sky and the lamps where lit in the park and there were a bunch of people there and it was just perfect. And as much as I miss Las Vegas, it’s days like these that’ll make me miss Santiago even more.
